Ollie Gandul Reyes (Spain) explores themes of desire, lust, and sexual intimacy from a queer and inclusive perspective through installations composed of ceramic sculptures combined with textiles, metal, and rubber.
Their work plays with contrasts such as softness and hardness, pleasure and discomfort. At the core is an exploration of how social mechanisms shape our desires. During their residency at the Keramikkünstlerhaus, Ollie Gandul Reyes will continue to delve into these themes, aiming to question and challenge societal constructs.

MM. Kosum (Thailand) is working on a fountain at the Keramikkünstlerhaus, which serves as both a spiritual symbol and a social meeting point. Through ceramics, glaze, and experimental techniques, she explores how objects can function as metaphorical and physical playgrounds for shared experiences and connection. Her focus lies on examining the social and cultural meanings that transform the fountain into a unique place of encounter.
