On Monday, January 6th, the jury convened to select the scholarship recipients for the °Ceramic-Artist-Exchange-Tandem Program 2025 at the Keramikkünstlerhaus. Out of 154 applicants from 38 different countries, six artists were chosen to come to Neumünster this year. Each pair will live and work at the Keramikkünstlerhaus for seven weeks. At the end of each residency, an exhibition will take place.
The selected scholarship recipients are: Razalina Busel (Belarus), Ruth Unger (Leipzig), Amelia Rosenberg (USA), Ollie Gandul Reyes aus (Spain), Magdalena Maros (Poland) und Yumiko Ono (Japan).
The jury consisted of the following members: Marilen Rauch (artist), Dr. Susanne Schwertfeger (research associate at the Institute of Art History, Christian-Albrechts-University of Kiel), Julius Pöhnert (Cultural Office Neumünster), Julia Hasenpusch (Cultural Office Neumünster), Carsten Hillgruber (Chair of the Dr. Hans Hoch Foundation, City Councilor of Neumünster) und Jantje Almstedt (artist and artistic director of the Keramikkünstlerhauses Neumünster).
