The Ceramic Artist Exchange is a residency designed to accomodate emerging artists for 7 weeks free of charge and includes a well equipped ceramics studio, as well as a comfortable living space. The resident will be provided with basic materials and electric and gas kilns firings during the course of the residency. For the 7 weeks in the Keramikkünstlerhaus (ceramic artist house) a tandem is put together (a young and an established artist). The studio space is open to the public during the day, artists are requested to be present and available for visitors giving them an insight into their creative process and into the exchange of the tandem. At the end of the artist residency a final public presentation in form of an exhibition or performance is expected. The created work and the exchange between the artists should be in foreground. The artists leave a representative work to the artist house and make it available for the final exhibition at the end of the year and for the collection of the house. The scholarship is endowed with 700€.
